For over 20 years now, Tenwek Hospital has been a recognized centre for the Clinical Officer and Medical Officer Internship programmes. We have also partnered with Kabarak University and host their nursing students for their internship period. Internship Programmes
Clinical Officers Internship Programme
Tenwek Hospital takes a maximum of 10 clinical officer interns from KMTC training centres across the country for a one year internship programme. To apply, follow the below steps:
- Send an updated resume and cover letter to medical.education@tenwekhosp.
org or via post office to the attention of the Medical Education Coordinator - You will then be invited to sit for an examination at Tenwek Hospital
- Shortlisted candidates will then be subjected to an oral interview and the top 10 selected
Medical Officer Internship Programme
We offer one year internship opportunities to a maximum of 10 medical officers every year. Being a Mission Hospital, the internship recruitment process is coordinated by CHAK in collaboration with the HR and Medical Education departments. To apply, follow the below steps:
- Send a detailed CV and cover letter to CHAK indicating your interest to serve at Tenwek Hospital
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews at Maseno, Eldoret and Nairobi interview centres
- If successful, an offer will be made in writing from Tenwek Hospital
